Do I need to make an appointment to start?

No appointment is necessary. We are open as long as we have a class going on. If you plan on starting a class, on your first day please just show up 10-15 minutes prior to the start of class so that you can find parking, sign our liability waivers, and get situated. (View Schedule)

How do I start my free 2 week trial?

You can pre-register online by filling out the form (Click here). Or you can just show up 10-15 minutes before class to register. No appointment is necessary, just show up!

Do I need gear to participate in class?

Yes! To ensure the safety of every participate, the required gear listed on each of the program pages is necessary. We want to make sure that you and our members are practicing safety in training at all times. We all have jobs to go to tomorrow!

Do you have training gear I can use?

Yes! We have a fully stocked ASD Proshop ( where you can purchase all the gear you need for training. We also rent gear out to individuals on a daily basis. The rental fee is $5 per equipment per use.

How much is membership?

Membership pricing ranges from $49.95-$99 per month depending on the program(s) that you want to participate in. For more specific pricing, click here.

I am a beginner, are these classes good for me?

Of course! We've structured our classes in a way that even as a beginner you can come in and start your fitness journey or start on your goal of learning self defense. Whatever your goal may be, we have classes that will meet your needs.

What should I wear to class?

Please feel free to wear anything you feel comfortable working out in. Normal workout attire is sufficient. We have two different training areas: a rubber turf surface and a matted area. On the rubber turf surface normal tennis shoes are allowed (you can even go barefoot if you want). On the mat, we ask that you go barefoot, wear socks, or wear dedicated mat shoes.
