Hey fitness buddies!
We’ve all heard of the ‘In-N-Out’ burger, but have you tried the Academy’s “In and Out” WOD? If you haven’t, prepare to have your fitness tastebuds tantalized. Nestled in Santa Clara, CA, the Academy of Self Defense has crafted a routine that’s all about embracing the rhythm of reps.
Here’s What’s On the Menu:
Reps: A seesaw pattern of 30-20-10-20-30. It’s a fitness dance, one where you’re both the lead and the follower!
The Moves:
- Alt Snatches: A dash of agility, a sprinkle of power.
- Box Jumps/Overs: Take a leap, literally and figuratively.
- Shoulder Taps: Grace and balance, all in one.
For our beginners out there, don’t you fret! We’ve got a version just for you: scaled down to 20-10-5-10-20. And if you’re not quite into the whole “jumping” vibe yet, step-ups are your best friend!
Now, the pièce de résistance – our vibrant Coach Serra is leading the dance tonight at 7pm. She has the energy, the expertise, and the enthusiasm to turn every workout into an event.
The Academy of Self Defense is more than a gym. It’s a place of community, perseverance, and more ‘aha!’ moments than you can count.
