
DEKA the Halls Challenge (12/1–12/15)
Do you like lunges? How about jumping onto tall things? Great—then you’re gonna LOVE this challenge!
“DEKA the Halls” is our two-week, Buddy-the-Elf-approved WOD challenge running from December 1st through 15th. It’s fast, fierce, and festive. Just two movements. One minute each. All gas, no candy cane breaks.
The Challenge:
- 1 Minute Box Jump / Step Over (24″)
Step with purpose. Jump like you’ve spotted the last cup of hot chocolate on the table. - 1 Minute Reverse Lunges with Spartan RAM
Hold on tight. Sink deep. And channel your inner elf warrior.
RAM Weights:
Buddy says, “The best way to spread Christmas cheer is lunging hard for all to hear.”
- Males: 55lb / 25kg
- Females & AG 65+ Males: 33lb / 15kg
- Youth 10–13 & AG 65+ Females: 22lb / 10kg
How to Participate:
- Show up anytime between 12/1 and 12/15
- Crush the 2-minute challenge
- Log your time
- Maybe… just maybe… beat your own personal record (or Buddy’s)
Why Do It?
Because your legs won’t forge themselves.
Because December isn’t for coasting.
Because Buddy would absolutely send it—while singing holiday tunes and yelling “I’M IN LOVE, AND I DON’T CARE WHO KNOWS IT!”
