What is the Locked in for Fitness Challenge?

Locked In for Summer is a 6-week fitness challenge built around one idea: do the work. Whether you’re already training at ASD or walking in for the first time, this challenge gives you the structure, the accountability, and the competition to push harder than you would on your own.

Train With Purpose.

Each week has a specific training focus: Lower Body Engine, Engine Builder, Work Capacity, Grip and Carry, Core and Control, and Locked In Final. Each week the action items organized into four tiers based on your fitness level and ambition. Foundation is your entry point. Grind is where you build. Locked In is where you push. DEKA Locked is for the most competitive athletes in the room. Every week includes a featured weekly challenge tied to that week’s theme, plus consistent points for nutrition, recovery, attendance, and community. The person with the most points at the end of six weeks wins. But the real win is who you become by the time it’s over.

WEEK 1 – Lower Body EngineBuild the foundation everything else runs on — stronger legs mean more power, better endurance, and a more stable base for every workout ahead.
WEEK 2 – Engine BuilderTrain your heart and lungs to work harder, recover faster, and last longer through sustained cardio and aerobic conditioning work.
WEEK 3: Work CapacityFind out how much total work you can produce under pressure — this is the week that separates people who train from people who are fit.
WEEK 4: Grip & CarryBuild the functional, real-world strength that shows up everywhere — loaded carries, pulling movements, and grip work that performs when it matters.
WEEK 5: Core & ControlStrengthen the system that holds everything together — not just your abs, but the full trunk stability that makes every movement more powerful and more efficient.
WEEK 6: Locked in FinalSix weeks of work all come down to this — retest everything, leave nothing on the table, and find out exactly how far you’ve come.

How It Works:

From April 20 to May 31, you’ll track your fitness & healthy habits through the TrainWithMe app. You’ll earn points for things like attending classes, testing fitness bench marks, eating healthy, or just showing up for yourself. The more consistent you are, the more points you rack up—and anyone can win, regardless of fitness level.

This challenge isn’t about perfection. It’s about progress.

This challenge is open to everyone—ASD members and non-members.
